About the Event

Please join us at Yuan Chinese Art Workshop. Artist Huang will teach us the different styles of traditional Chinese calligraphy, the principle and method of Chinese character writing. Furthermore, we will enjoy beautiful Chinese poetry.

Ms. Huang has won prizes from many exhibitions. She is committed to letting students learn and create calligraphy works in an enjoyable atmosphere. We will watch as she writes basic strokes and a Chinese poem calligraphy work, meanwhile, she explains the fundamental characteristics of the different scripts of calligraphy. Under her guidance, we will then create our own calligraphy work “福” or any characters you like on special paper.
