Join the SEA Welcome Team for a casual chat, meet new people, and share your questions, concerns, or expertise about life in this fantastic city. Joining one of our regularly-scheduled Welcome Chats is the easiest way to get in touch with SEA, Shanghai’s largest international community. 

There is no fixed agenda, but life, traveling, info about useful apps, shops, restaurants, or markets are usually among our current topics.

Our chats are open to all, including first timers as well as anyone who has attended before and/or has lived in Shanghai for years. 

To become a member of SEA, please bring your passport or a copy (non-Mainland passport holders or nationals married to non-Mainland passport holders with marriage certificate), along with RMB 300 in cash.
